Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Financial Grasp (the “app”). By signing in and using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Not financial advice

The Financial Grasp is commentary and education only. Nothing in it is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything, and nothing takes your personal circumstances into account. Always do your own research and seek professional advice before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
• You sign in with Google. Keep access to your Google account secure — you’re responsible for activity under your account.
• Accounts are for individuals; don’t share your account.

Acceptable use

When posting comments or otherwise using the app, you agree not to:

• post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• post spam, advertising, or content that infringes anyone’s rights;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, at our discretion.

Your content

You keep ownership of the comments you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the app. You’re responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it. Remember that comments are public to other signed-in readers.

Our content

The entries, text, design, and branding of The Financial Grasp are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute them without our permission.

The Ask feature

When available, the Ask companion generates responses using AI. These responses are for information only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not advice. Don’t rely on them as a sole source of truth.

Availability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its content — including any financial loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms
